First practice, January 2. Production dates: March 29, and 30 (7 p.m.), 31 (2 and 7 p.m., April 1 (2 p.m.), 2012.

Practices are Mondays, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Paul UCC in New Bremen. Enter on North Herman S.t near the "Spirit Safari" sign. Please tell us now if you can’t make practices regularly or if you have decided not to be in the production. We will have a schedule soon so you know which nights you do not need to be there. Some nights will be main characters only.

We were given misinformation from MTI about being able to perform the dual language version of "Aladdin" in English only. We regret this has slowed down notifying cast members. In its place, we will be recasting for a production of HONK! (the delightful ugly duckling musical). Watch this site and look for an email before January 1. First practice will be January 2. Thanks for your patience!

Open auditions for "Aladdin" will be held from 6-9 p.m. on December 5 and 6, 2011 at Faith Alliance Church, 6670 Knoxville Avenue, New Bremen for actors 7th grade and up. The Crescent Players presented “Angelhead,” a children’s Christmas musical, a benefit for St. Marys Agape Ministries’ Food Pantry. The venue was St. Paul UCC, 117 N. Franklin Street, New Bremen, December 9 and 10, 2011 at 7 p.m. The play wass directed by Mary Jo Baker and Drew Rochotte, with choreography by Elizabeth Baker and Taylor Wissman.

Synopsis:

*Synopsis:*

Jimmy Took’s only relative is his very wealthy and very generous Uncle Dan. Somehow Uncle Dan gets the impression that Jimmy is married. Just as Jimmy finds himself in a position where he needs to borrow money, he receives a letter stating that Uncle Dan will be arriving soon to meet the bride. Afraid that his uncle will think he deliberately lied to him, Jimmy frantically tries to talk his girlfriend, Madge, into posing as his wife for a few hours. Madge refuses, so Jimmy attempts to hire Mr. Oswald, a humorous near-sighted fellow, to pose as a woman! Mr. Oswald also refuses—leaving only Jimmy’s roommate, Bill. Against his better judgment, Bill gets dressed up as a girl! Things liven up when Mr. Oswald changes his mind and arrives as “Mrs. Took,” and Madge also changes her mind and breezes in announcing she too is Jimmy’s wife! Jimmy rushes around trying to keep Uncle Dan from meeting his various fiancees as laugh tops laugh and Jimmy realizes his idea wasn’t so bright after all.

The production was directed by Lois Wimmers, with co-director Kitty Stroede. OKLAHOMA! was performed at the James F. Dicke Auditorium in New Bremen on February 14, 16 and 17 (two performances), 2008. Directed by Diane Huelskamp, with co-director Mary Jo Baker, it provided great entertainment and was fun for all involved. The cast included Laura Vogel as Laurie, Jason Baker as Curly, Kitty Stroede as Aunt Eller, Abby Anderson as Addo Annie, Andrew Heckman as Will Parker, Harold Stroede as the Peddlerman, Wayne Mescher as Andrew Carnes, Marcus Baker as Jud Fry, Courtney Wright as Gertie, and Ted Borchers as Cord Elam.

The brothers included Harold Stroede, Drew Rochotte, Zach Yahl, Justin Hoyng, Marcus Baker and Andrew Heckman. Rachel Ring, Stephanie Heitkamp, Emily Thieman, Joelle Ranly, Marilyn Barrett, Lorraine Yahl, Laura Marsee, and Ali Bornhorst portrayed the brides.

Cinderella 2006

It featured Marissa Wenning as Cinderella and Drew Rochotte as the prince; Amanda Newlove as Portia, Ali Bornhorst as Joy, Amy Makemson as the stepmother, Diane Huelskamp as the queen, Vern Bergman the king, and Joanna Osterloh as the fairy godmother.
